Vacationing In Michigan
Michigan is not only well-known for it's industry and
production lines, it is also a major tourist attraction!
About fifty (50) percent of the land is forest land, which
is remote. This makes Michigan a must for any camper.
Another top attraction is Michigan's thousands of miles of
beaches. People come from all around the United States
just to enjoy them!
Hunting and fishing is also a big reason why people
come to Michigan for vacation. Hunters alone contribute
two (2) billion dollars annually to the economy. Michigan
has over a million licensed hunters, which is the the
largest hunting population in the United States!
Not all of Michigan's attractions are in nature though.
Tourist cities are all over the place, from southern
Michigan to the Upper Peninsula.
Frankenmuth is known as Michigan's Little Bavaria, and
is a town of beautiful sights and rich cultural history.
There are many things to do for everyone! Shops are all
around, as well as river boat rides, seasonal events, and
occasional music concerts.
